Payments, refunds & cancellations

What payment methods are available?


We accept payments by PayPal and by all major credit and debit cards (excluding American Express).




What is your refund policy?


We are happy to refund an item if it is defective, within 30 days of purchase or upon the return of your item. If you return an item to us and request a refund due to an error on our part we will be happy to pay for the postage cost to return it to us. Please note, if you are requesting a refund based on an issue with condition we kindly ask you to provide a photo in order for us to best advise a suitable resolution. If you return a book to us because you made a mistake, we will be unable to pay for the return postage. These types of returns must be requested within 7 days of purchase, and only for books over 30nis. Returns that are not the result of our error may be subject to a restocking fee of 15nis per item sent by Standard Shipping.




How do I cancel my order?


We can only cancel an order if it hasn't yet been processed by our picking and packing department. Usually items are processed within a matter of hours, so this limits our ability to cancel an order before this time. You will be able to return the item to us, at your expense, if you no longer require it and we will refund you the value of your item provided it falls within the time period stated on our returns policy.





Delivery & Shipping

What are your delivery costs?


Standard Shipping is free for orders over 75nis. For orders under 40nis, shipping is 20nis. For orders under 60nis, shipping is 25nis. For orders under 75nis, shipping is 30nis.




How long will it take for my book to arrive?


We aim to process and ship your order within 5 working days. Standard shipping should take an additional 5-7 working days.




If I buy more than one item, will they be delivered at the same time?


We do try to keep orders together, but sometimes we’ll split your order into several packages to help ensure the quickest possible delivery.




Can I change my delivery address?


You can change your address at any time during the Checkout Process. However, because we process requests very quickly, once your order’s been placed it’s no longer possible to change the delivery address. If you have made a mistake with your order, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will try and resolve any issues.




Do you provide an order tracking?


We don’t currently have an order tracking for our orders.




Which delivery company do you use?


Your order will be delivered using Doar Israel.





Where is my order?

Where is my order?


As previously mentioned, we cannot provide full tracking for our orders. However we do update the status of your order according to which process it is currently part of in our fulfilment process. You will also be sent emails throughout this process letting you know the progress of your order.

If you have set up an Account the current status of your order is displayed in your Account Dashboard. You can find this by logging in to your account.





Book Sourcing & Conditions

What sort of books do Eva's Used Books sell?


Eva’s Used Books purchases surplus books from charity shops, wholesale shops, and libraries. This creates a true circular economy, benefiting charities, the environment, and of course all the passionate book lovers out there!




What condition will my books be in?


We offer a range of grades on our used books: Very Good, Good and Acceptable. If a book doesn’t meet our high standards it’s sent for recycling. No book is wasted.
